Tokyo Noise is an exciting audiovisual dive into the cacophonic waters of urban Japan. Three Swedish documentary makers drag us into a world characterized by noise in all possible forms, and during the trip a plethora of themes are subjects for speculation: robots, shintoism, love hotels, the ethical guidelines for a photo club specializing in Mount Fuji. All of this is presented by a handful of people as eccentric photographers, noise artists, shinto priests, doctors, game designers and more.

The eclectic soundtrack was composed, performed, and compiled by Johan Söderberg and Zbigniew Karkowski, known for his work in The Hafler Trio.
